01. Local Data Storage
All information you create or input within Notaro remains stored strictly on your local device in encrypted application storage:
- Company Profile: Business name, address, tax IDs (SIRET / VAT), contact details, and custom logo image.
- Client Directory: Names, company designations, physical addresses, emails, and phone numbers.
- Item Catalog: Product and service descriptions, default unit pricing, and tax rates.
- Financial Documents: Generated quotes, invoices, payment status, and local PDF files.
The developer does not host cloud servers for user data and has no access to your documents.
02. Device Permissions
Notaro requests standard device permissions solely to streamline data entry and document creation. All processing executes 100% locally on your device:
- Contacts Access (READ_CONTACTS): Used solely if you tap to import a client's name, phone, email, and address directly from your phone's address book. Your contacts list is never uploaded or shared.
- Camera Access (CAMERA): Used if you capture a photo of a logo or business card directly from within the app.
- Photo Library Access: Used via the OS System Photo Picker so you can select a company logo image to embed on your PDF invoices and quotes.
03. Cryptographic Signing & Integrity
Every Notaro installation generates a unique local Ed25519 private keypair stored securely on your device. Every invoice or quote you create is signed cryptographically, embedding an anti-tamper QR code on the PDF. Notaro also records a SHA-256 hash of issued PDFs to detect any external file modification.
04. In-App Purchases (Notaro Pro €29.99)
The optional single non-consumable unlock Notaro Pro Lifetime (€29.99 / $29.99) is processed entirely through official app store billing APIs (StoreKit on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android):
- Apple App Store: Processed via your Apple ID account.
- Google Play Store: Processed via your Google Play account.
Notaro has no recurring monthly subscriptions and does not receive, process, or store credit card numbers.
05. Zero Analytics & Tracking
Notaro contains no advertising SDKs, no behavioral analytics, and no third-party tracking frameworks. Your activity within the application remains private.
